A useful enquiry describes each glass pane, the cavity and any coating requirements. Include the overall unit thickness and details needed to coordinate the unit with its frame.

State measurable project targets
Where required, provide the target thermal transmittance, solar performance and visible light transmission, together with the relevant calculation or test standard. These values depend on the specified construction and should be checked against supporting data.
Coordinate appearance and glazing details
Share colour references, viewing expectations and the frame or façade details. Discuss sample requirements where appearance needs to be approved before ordering.
